Assistant Manager - Digital & AI Applications

Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – Digital & AI Applications will support AI Labs within the CEO's Office by translating business needs into practical Digital & AI applications. The role will map current processes, develop future-state workflows, document business requirements and user stories, coordinate functional and user-interface testing, and support training, adoption and value tracking.

The Hire will work with functional teams, Group Central Tech and technology partners to resolve issues, manage enhancements and ensure ongoing application ownership after go-live. The role will also support product discovery and prioritization of business requirements.

The role will also support Cost Excellence (CostEx) initiatives through data analysis, cost performance tracking, identification of optimization opportunities and preparation of actionable insights for management decision-making.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1. Business analysis and process design: map current workflows with functions and develop future-state processes for Digital & AI initiatives.

2. Requirements management: capture and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria; coordinate with technology partners and Group Central Tech.

3. Testing and readiness: coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and UI/functional testing, log defects, track fixes and support go-live readiness.

4. Adoption and application ownership: support user training, rollout, issue resolution, enhancements and releases; maintain business application continuity after go-live.

5. Cost Excellence & Data Analytics: Support cost data analysis, identify trends, variances and optimisation opportunities, and support tracking of CostEx initiatives.

6. Value realisation and reporting: monitor usage, time saved and other agreed benefits; report adoption and realised value to the AI Labs / CEO’s Office team.

Critical Success Factors - Desirable

• EPC / project-business exposure
• SQL and Power BI proficiency
• Experience with vendor-supported applications
• Consulting experience preferred, particularly in business analysis or digital transformation
• Familiarity with enterprise applications and integrations
